I think it was more just LPF in general being slow, happened to me just before the server reboot.

yeah i don't know if it was PM, as i was having problems with the entire site as a whole, regardless of what i was trying to do.

I did not notice any pm issues, however I thought the site was being DDoS attacked earlier.

Haven't tried PM's, but the whole site was crawling. Seems OK now after reboot.
