is my red laser burned out?

ive owned a few lasers before but never a red one. im just one of those people that loves fire and technology. lasers have always been one of my favorite things. so i would really like a high powered laser. and yes i do have safety glasses.

you can get 200-400mW of 650nm but 1W is out of the question at the moment. if you are dead set on buying from a company we can help you out but if you want to grab one from a member then check this site. like i said before, i custom build you one from scratch if you want. if not no big deal, ill sell it to someone else

ok basic laser for burning info ,, red best for low budget burning,,, the 250 you got if it worked would light matches fireworks pop balloons ect

blue lasers will get you over 1 W and over 1.5 will start fires 1600mw (1.6W) 445nm blue laser ignites newspaper - YouTube

and a good beam http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxXWe8kVxGo&feature=endscreen

these are also the most dangerous

and 405 violet is best for burning across the room, ie far away

p.s the laser in this video was built and bought here for just over $100- same price as nano- 16 x power 1600000000 times the quality

I really just want a red laser with a very visible beam. I wanted a 635 nm laser but I wanted to see the normal 660 nm first.

i know a few people who can build a very powerful red or 635nm (possibly 1 watt) for 100-200 depending on just how powerful it is.

the 635nm will be a lot brighter and can be built more powerful but has disadvantages such as the line-dot, search around about the high power reds and you will see,

if you really want a beam and burning blue is also good, and the cheapest for 1 W and up
