Is it worth it?

Wow. I'm currently working a deal with CNI over some bare modules. Hopefully the bare module will come in notably cheaper than that. I'd be a happy camper!

P.S why are you still up? it's 11:15 where I am. I am so bored and ran out of sleeping pills so no more lasers for me! I nearly blinded myself last time...

Full time job, full time college, full time dad, full time sleep. I only have time for three. ;)

it's going to take me a while to get it though, I have decided to do small jobs for other people for maybe 5 bucks or so a day rather than use my job money, and save up for my laser. I feel like a kid again :(

Eforce is a CNI retailer base in the OZ to get through the restriction i think, as Australia is a member of Commonwealth so it allows them to ship to Canada, U.K, and many other places that have restrction. :)

They have ready made 561 pointers? How much do they want for them and what is the power level?

Hey Razako.

Yes, CNI made some *complete* 561nm pointers <5mW for a short time. A few members got their hands on them and they ran about $260-$300 so not too bad! :)

I think CNI will only sell you the module if you are US based(lazerman121) has that exact module!

Isaac implied that Eforce has some of them if I'm not mistaken. I've been wanting a 561nm for my collection for a while now and I'm not sure I wanna spend $1000 for a 30mw module and then risk screwing it up trying to put it in a host. If Eforce has some ready-made pens at a semi-reasonable price I'd definitely want to acquire one.
