Is getting a G2 lens worth it?

I have a 9mm stock lens, so what I am wondering is if there would be any use in my getting a G2 lens for my upcoming 9mm build. Apparently they are pretty comparable, but is there something the G2 does better, or some advantage to having both?

No i would not get a G2 lens the stock 9mm lens works great with the 9mm diode. And the only typical difference i know of is that a G- lens has wings.
