That's a cool shift knob, I'm guessing they used mirrors to make it look like there was 100 LED's in there.

You're correct Jeff. I tried to keep the effect but lost most of it because I had to drill though both mirrors and the pcb to allow the aixiz module to be adjusted in the right position.
