Invisibility Cloak made with lasers

Very interesting read, thank you for that post!

It reminds me of something I recently saw - an extremely thin bendable, "unbreakable" video screen. They talked about being able to have clothes with screens sewn in so you can actually have HD video on your sleeve or something similar.
My thought was - cover a car in these screens and have tiny cams in between, each feeding video to the screen on the opposite side. This would obviously not make it invisible, but it would be about as good as multi-terrain camouflage gets.

I had actually seen something about "invisible screens" using cameras a while back, but I forget how it worked. I don't think it would work too well if you're moving though (especially as fast as a car moves), as there would probably be a slight video lag.

This is a link from the video, I found it really interesting: http://science.howstuffworks.com/invisibility-cloak.htm
They use beam splitters!

I saw one video where they strapped a whole bunch of TVs to the side of a car and had a camera on the other side ( Or possibly several cameras ). It was impressive to see. :)
