Yup. The guy who necroed the thread deleted his post, so there wasn't much point in commenting. :beer:
I have a Rubicon power meter (PCB rev4) which hasn't been used for sometime.
Upon powering up today it does not boot into the normal display screen.
Connecting it via USB also does not allow Peregrine to connect.
Is there any way to get support on this product?

or try contacting the member that opened
this Thread....
Unless it was store in a very humid area or it
was mechanically damaged... Electronic circuits
don't normally degrade with non-use and
programming does not mutate.

Agreed, the program memory should not degrade over time, at least not on a scale of a human lifespan. It may degrade if you program things a million times over, but you're not doing that by just leaving it be in storage.
The only thing that could erase the program memory would be a cosmic ray, or ionizing radiation from some other source. Provided you don't live in a nuclear power reactor this would be very unlikely to happen, and if it did would have a similar effect on smartphones and such.
There could be plenty of other things going wrong though, perhaps tin whiskers growing and shorting out pins if the thing was done in lead-free solder (likely) and the temperature varied during storage.

...interesting. Sorry to completely miss this, I've been in the field for work and rarely get on LPF.
If you're in the US and don't mind shipping it I can have a look. This sounds like the result of tinkering with the Arduino IDE. I think I have some hardware diagnostic code you can upload to it to confirm nothing is wrong. When plugged into a PC (with the LPM power switch off) does the PC see a device?
