No news as of yet - I just sent off an email asking for an update (again) we are okay, though....The ONLY thing up in the air is the Busted ones...
 





Greg, it doesn't seem like the 5 remaining broken ones are going to sell. Are there any from the new batch that have not been spoken for yet? If there are, I'll jump in line for one. Thanks,

Something I"m not clear on, you say they have been broke in half.... does that mean the battery compartment is severed from the rest of the unit..... and if so how hard does that look to fix?
 
I'm sure the factory can just as easily replace that battery compartment, hence why they won't budge much on their prices.

Maybe... I can't imagine the solid part thats the laser itself could be damaged unless from a sheer drop.... this sounds more like something fell on them or ran over them.
 
Exactly! If these were green lasers, I wouldn't have thought about going for a broken one. If the battery tube is all that's broken, this is a no-brainer.

Hey guys - sorry so long in replying ! I am not certain the extent of the damage, it appears to me that it is only "puled" out of the threads where the battery compartment screws into the rest of the laser. Since I cannot open them unless they all sell, I really cannot tell if any damage has occurred.
 
Okay all - the ORIGINAL 21 units that were bought and paid for sooooooo long ago will either arrive today, or tomorrow - the status shows "out for delivery" but I have lost faith in the shipping services offered for some odd reason ! LOL

I will update everyone the instant they arrive !

The "extra" ones ordered are being shipped tomorrow - so any last minute orders, let's get them in now while the getting is good - Cutoff is 4pm CST today - must wire additional funds for a few late commers.....
 
I'm a patient man so when they arrive I know you'll turn them out a.s.a.p thanks for doing this for us all Greg ;)
 
Man... what a wait! Hey... SenKat, since I assume a few people decided to have you test their units, could you please, and if no one else minds, report on your findings?

As in the output, the averages, and peaks... etc... I think that would be better than a single review of their product :D

I agree - please post results for mine as well. A thorough review of the entire order (owners permitting) will give us a good idea what we are likely to encounter next time. Sending a link of the review to the company wouldn't hurt either.

You can also include results for my current glowtorch for comparison.
 
One Friday a couple of years ago I had UPS show "out for delivery". They never came...no notice was even left on the door knob. I really despised them for that and let them know. UPS claimed it wasn't my regular driver delivering packages that day and apologized. So I had to wait until Monday, and thankfully my regular driver delivered the package that day.

I am crossing my fingers SenKat. Hopefully they will come today. Also it's ok with me too if you want to post the results of mine. I know you planned on testing all of them before shipping them out anyway. Thanks for everything you do for us :)
 
I will be testing every one of them, with the exception of two of them - I was requested to leave those two alone :-) I will post the results of the testing, and provided there are no huge discrepancies, I will be shipping the next shipping day ! 8-) As far as the 5 remaining unsold broken ones go - I received an email from DHL - it seems that the company has placed an investigation into the damage incurred whilst shipping.....now, IF that company gets compensated for the busted lasers, I will INSIST that I be able to keep all the busted ones - as I will NOT allow that company to get paid three times for lasers ! THAT IS WRONG !!! But - I can make no promises either way - if they give them to me free, then I refund the payments that have been made, and test them all out, blah blah ,blah...we'll cross that bridge when we get to it :-)
 
Fantastic news I'm all excited now :) I can't wait for another laser in my collection :D
 
Quite lucrative if they can get paid three times.... almost makes you wonder if they do it on purpose every so often?..... I bet that wouldn't last for long if so.
