Increase your MPG by 10 to 30%!!!

On temperature:

Gasoline is sold by volume, but the energy it contains is related to its weight. As it expands when warm in summer, you get less mass of fuel per unit of volume. This effect is not huge, but noticable: for every 10 degrees centigrade there is about a 1% change in density. This would create better mileage in winter time.

I suppose the benefit is easily offset by getting more power out of a (non-turbo) engine, producing more power and using more fuel when you floor it. Also, window/seat/mirror heaters etc take a lot of power. So does the aircon in summer - i suppose you get the best mileage when you need neither.

If you want fuel economy, drive a diesel powered vehicle. Diesel fuel has higher energy density and is generally cheaper than gasoline, the engines have higher compression ratio and most are turbocharged. All this equates to free power and/or better mileage.

Edit: post 666

I also heard somewhere the engines themselves last 2-3 times longer than their gasoline counterparts, but don't quote me on that.

Not when taking into account that warmer engines are more efficient.

That is a very believable claim, diesels are overbuilt in comparison to gas engines because of higher cylinder pressures. The engines also run very slow, I have never seen a diesel redline higher than 3500 rpm. The fuel itself is an oil and further lubricates the parts...

The benefits of diesel very by country. Here in holland diesel fuel is taxed less than petrol (and thus cheaper at the pump), but you have to pay higher (monthly) road taxes for owning a diesel car. I think in the UK its the other way around, not sure about what other countries do.

Diesel cars are usually slightly more expensive to purchase, but the engines do last longer. At least longer in number of miles you drive, perhaps its a similar number of total rotations between diesel and petrol, but a petrol engine is just operated in lower gear on average.

Petrol is still more fun though :)

Neo Socket Alpha [Hi-Grade] contains larger electrolysis condenser than that of Neo Socket Alpha [ECO]
if that is electrolysis, where does the hydrogen go?? aaah I know... there's supplied a invisible hose, that automatically connects to the carburetor and delivers the H2 here... and that makes that 30% improve :p
also, condensers are used in air conditioning systems

wait... and where does it take water from??
