Imperfections on Diode Window

Oh, alright. Well, when I go to the drugstore next (should have gone today...) I will pick up some acetone and do some cleaning!

Hey, so I finally got around to getting acetone. I put it on a microfiber cloth and twisted, spiraled, then did the same thing but with a dry portion of the cloth.

Now, it looks like I got rid of the spots on the right side of the profile, but that one in the top right is still there - but I am not that worried. Thanks everyone for the advice! I hope this extends the life and ups the power of my laser.

Anecdote though - while cleaning it, it randomly shut off (was in the midst of checking out the work I had done). I started freaking out that I killed it. Turns out, the batteries had died. That happens every time the batteries die in this laser - the laser doesn't get slightly dimmer or whatever, it just shuts off, which scares the living hell out of me :P.
