Correct, wouldn't the temperature shift also lower the output due to the pump "pumping" 805nm-811nm?

I would want a certificate valid for one laser of choice at OEM Laser Systems , just thinking of 500mW+ of 593nm and 473nm makes me laugh.

I would go for a 10 WATT 556nm the size of the RPL ;D With a beam diameter of 0.5mm and a <1mrad This could be realistic but some time in the future... I would also need something like 10 OD goggles And the casing made of Titanium! With an infinite duty cycle (like the SPYDER II) And some sort of super batteries that use nuclear fission and last >10 years!

I'd prob go with an 532nm RPL (the biggest I could get) - Don't get me wrong,I love my Herc but it IS a bit unwieldy and not quite as portable as the RPL's. ....

I just read an article where they talked about having developed up to 600mW 488nm DPSS. I think it was in Germany.. now if we could just fit that into a torch
