Identify this Laser

Can anyone identify what type of laser this is? I believe it was used on a robot at some point.

The power converter is made by Laser Supply Inc. I've tried to contact them but no reply.

Input: 10-14v DC
Output: 1000-1850v DC @2.5 - 5ma

It's a small, old Helium/Neon laser. It probably came out of a barcode scanner

Yes, it would make a nice portable.
I use a battery out of an extra UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to make some of my smaller He-Ne's portable.
It lasts for 20-25 mins. of lasing. (W/1250V tube)
