IDEA: Nice flashlight host from DX..

Nice host, but depending on the diode in there, you won't be able to fit a heatsink other than the aixiz in that. Also, it would have to run on a lava drive due to the battery voltage.

Other wise, a nice host.

I am talking about short dutycircle and low corrent..
mybe I take my PHR from my labby and disconnect it from my rkcstr to build laser in this host.
but this is in the future. I'll need flexdrive+10440 batt+ charger+ little bit more money..XD

I really like the host. But fitting a module in it would be a VERY tight build, but not impossible at all. I'm sure jayrob could look into this if it gets many requests.

I, for one, vote +1 on it.

It could work for PHR's...maybe a 6x without pushing it too hard.

If your looking for a good deal on PHR's for this build, try out Modwerx Laser Components and Accessories.

As for 10440 batteries and charger - again! 3.6v-3.7v multifunction battery charger GREY [CHRG2] - $10.99 : Modwerx Shop & 3.6-3.7v 10440 AAA size battery (2 pack) [BATT2] - $5.99 : Modwerx Shop

Awesome price. I bought 4 batteries.

Just a note about those batteries. It says not to discharge below 2.75v

That's incorrect.

DO NOT discharge Li-ions below 3V.

That host seems great but too $$$. I've been looking for a 1xaaa host myself for my 2nd phr diode i have.

Would it fit the entire aixiz module ?

Looking at its dimensions, I'm thinking it would.

The rayfoss / lava drivers would work perfectly.

Yeah, an aixiz would fit there, but as I said before, it'll be a very tight build.

Trying to resist ordering it haha

EDIT: Actually, I have store credit from DX :)

Ordered, I'll see how it works out.
