Idea in smartphone watch ?

Hello people I am a new user here. I am really interested on technology. I was searching for good forum to discuss on technology on the web and eventually found this amazing site. I want to ask experts here about smartphone watch. I heard a bit about smartphone watch but I have no idea how the smartphone watch works. Does it operate with the smart phones? I am just curious to know. Your reply will be great for me. Thanks in advance.

#2: I am not sure this is the place to get this question answered. This is laserpointerforums. its in the name that most of us know things about lasers. I wish i could help but i have no knowlege of the "smart phone watch"

The pictures i saw of it, it looked butt ugly and very bulky they are gonna have to do a lot of work before the idea catches on, way to big ....

All you need to do is look at your own link's pages to see what the watch does.
It is simply a bluetooth connected external notification/alert gadget that displays alert icons telling you to look at you phone in an ugly/cheap phone format. It lacks most features of other smart watches.

PS This is not a general technology site technology site---it is a forum site about lasers.
