Idea: easily adjustable current for a small build

Well, I thought about that and it sounded good but for some reason I decided it wouldn't work. Now I can't remember why I thought it wouldn't work...
 





@lumify: sounds like a good approach, just limit the max with a fixed resistor in series, and let the pot adjust down to about treshold level.
