A beam dump that is.
Decided two would be better. Feelin' good about my choice.
'Specially since I ordered a couple clamps & tripods from DX like five weeks ago now and here comes Moh's stuff like bang.

great price + fast shipping + tripod included!

Yes there was some paint missing from the front of one of them.
But the paint on the other one was perfect.
Can I just use some regular flat black paint to touch it up?
BTW the only reason you can see the screw protruding is becasue I have it screwed down too far.
Normally you can't see the screw.

It must of come off during shipping :(

the paint is just black hi-temp paint from the hardware store. suppose to be good up to 1200 farenheight

Usually a proper paintjob requires some base coat that adheres well to the metal surface,
only then the actual paint comes into play.
If you just put down any paint on the metal, it doesn't surprise me much that it just
flakes off like that.
Or even if that paint was meant for direct application, the surface must be prepared for it.
Cleaning with alcohol would be enough here, IMHO. Silicon remover shouldn't be necessary.

At least that's how it works when I paint my car....

Or you could just rough up the whole surface and etch it your self...

But That paints easier
