Bet that cost a pretty penny. I love gallium so much.
I looked it up and 80cc of gallium is almost exactly 1lb of Ga(470grams)

Back about 4 years ago, Ga prices online were about $80-$100 per oz. for Ga! I found some guy on Ebay liquidating his element collection 4 years ago for economic reasons, and I got about 60g of 99.99% for $50, but that was way below average.

But now it's apparently gone down, so at Rotometals you can get 100g of 99.99% pure Ga for $82, and 500g for $364. Thats still close to the price of silver though. Galliumsource.com has it for $384/500g for 99.99%

It's odd that there are now gallium stores that specialize in Ga sales

Uh yeah, about that... I probably MEANT 80 grams and had a brain fart.

I bought this

Amazon.com: Gallium 99.99% Pure 100 Grams: Industrial & Scientific

and have wasted about 20 grams of it trying stuff.

I didn't mean to make you guys think that I was hoarding gallium.

I too, love Gallium!

I havent had any for many years but at one point I had the chemical company my family partially owned buy me 10g of it. Boy that stuff was fun. Family sold the company and over the years I misplaced it or my family got rid of it when I moved out (I can't remember). I've been wanting to get some more but it has been expensive.

I do keep silver bullion and would be willing to trade gram for gram 1 troy ounce silver for ultrapure (99.99% or more) gallium if anyone would be interested.
