thats what i figured... i even asked the guy before he disabled the comments. And he swears up and down that there is no smoke. Even if you did mod something to shine this bright, your diode would probably be dead in minutes.

Apparently, the human tissue does an excelent job at dissipating near IR radiation.Aseras(I think) put a focused dot of nearly 3W on his hand and nothing.It probably helps if you're really white though.
Btw that guy with those videos is a jackass."That voodoo that I do" pfff : He probably didn't want to tell you because he has no idea how to mod them and he's just showing off.

its a good little laser. Good heavy build . i had mode hopping issues but it was easily fixed with some adjustments to the pot. good beam for the price. if you try to turn it up it will continue to mode hop into 3 dots so you have to find the perfect area.

I've come too close to losing my sight to use a laser with IR leakage. That IS scary.
