Sweet, how about some beam pics?
Hello ElectricPlasma,
That is the only one I took on my phone today. I can definitely take some more night shots if you want? :yh:

The forum demands more night pictures! :yh:
Congratulations, Alex. I expected to see you had been screwed also, but close to half a watt is incredible, especially from a CNI resale. It should make some fine beam shots. I'll be looking forward to those. NICE!
Woah that's a nice laser you got. That thing is crazily overspec. Definitely a keeper there.
You a very lucky man Alex. Enjoy your overspec laser. Just seen you have set up a thread with images. A man who keeps his word.
Very nice. It is always a pleasant surprise to have a laser over perform, especially by that much.
Is this actually now you most powerful laser? Looking at your sig it looks like.
You did well, that is a good price for what you got.
Now we want the obligatory beemshots :eg:
DL = Dragon Lasers
If you want a tight spot and a solid beam then you probably want the 532nm - they'll have the tightest beam. Lots of options for companies, you could take a little risk and go with XPL... I'll let some other suggest something else. 1W 532nm in a handheld is a little harder to come by - for example, LaserBTB only offer up to 700mW, although the output could end up being higher than advertised ...
A 520nm 800 mW laser diode does not have better divergence specs than most good 532nm DPSSLs. I don't know where you got that, but it is not true. Now, I can't speak to the quality of XPL's lasers, but on average the 532nm will diverge less than the multi-mode 520nm diode lasers.
