Hi, I have a kit that does the same thing for sale, $20, includes PCB, all parts except heatsink and wire. You solder together (SMT parts).

Yes, analog modulation for diode lasers in scanners. That's what I designed it for, and use it in my own RGB projector.
 
he normaly has a bunch Gooey

Glasserfan, its to drive a laser diode. I am getting some blu ray diodes and need a driver for them...
 
I have more, and there aren't any tiny pin spacings like the flexdrive, it's all 'normal' smt, so totally DIYable.
