I just bought my first High powered Laser!

Does anyone have a good way of getting ahold of laserbtb customer support? I have had no luck with email. I need to confirm that the order is NOT going to my paypal address.

Didn't it ask for a shipping address when you made the purchase? Why don't you update your PayPal account with your current address?

Alan

Yes it asked for a shipping address. I hadnt used paypal for a while so it slipped past me. The address for the order is correct, but the receipt address from paypal is wrong if that makes sense.

Yes that makes sense. You should be ok since it let you enter a shipping address. Be sure to update your address in PayPal, there are some businesses that automatically ship to your PayPal address.

They just keep telling me they are sending to the PP address on the receipt and I cant change it.. Even though I have corrected and verified my address on paypal now. Im thinking of canceling the order im kinda fed up with it.

That's a great laser you bought for yourself. I only own a 520 pen from BTB but am very impressed with the quality.
Just be smart when using your laser outdoors. My rule of thumb is I wait till after 1 am when there aren't much aircraft in the airspace. If is see one anywhere in the sky even if its the exact opposite direction I am lasering I shut it down immediately wait for the A/C to be out of visual contact.

Also if you want to point to stars never point the beam right at the star. Instead circle the star with the beam. High flying a/c can look like stars so in the event it is a plane you aren't accidentally targeting it. Just a good rule of thumb I read on the link in my sig. You should check it out when you have some time. Lots of great and very interesting information.

weird it shouldnt be that long, try contact them on Skype, laserbtb i have always got replies from email weird, i guess they missed u somehow.. try mail again otherwise..

laser@laserbtb.com

keyuanoe@126.com

also they write this on production

Normally that needs 3 days to produce the laser, the normal delivery is in the estimated delivery dates after the seller received the payments from the buyer, except the new product being developed.

And,that need 3-4 days via DHL,5-7 days via EMS.
If the shipment is delayed more than 4 weeks time, The buyer can request to cancel this sales contract and refund the payment in full. the seller is responsible for all goods damaged during transit due to improper packaging or the lack thereof.

Thanks mortuus. I've gone as far as making a different email. We will see tommorow if they reply. I also contacted offroadfreak to see if he can help me get in touch with them. At this point even if I receive my laser I don't think I'll order from them again.

I thought it was only illegal to use them within a 10 mile radius of an airport?

Yes, but good luck finding an area outside of a 10 nautical mile radius of any airport. There's municipal and private airports everywhere.

I had a link to an FAA page where you could read more about airports and lasers, but the link doesn't seem to be working. :(

I received the laser yesterday and it is incredible. The beam and night is highly visible im so glad I bought safety goggles with this because they are mandatory its incredibly bright.

Just dispute it with palpal or whomever----they will contact you pretty quickly I would guess after that.
