I've found this lasers pretty cheap and unusual colors but before buy anything I want to ask some questions :)

there are 3 different mW options, 5, 50 and 80 mw, I don't care about burning stuff with them, but it would be nice to see them clearly as my 10mw green laser

so what option should I choose? and are this colors more or less dangerous than a green laser?

all lasers over 5mW can be dangerous if you get hit in the eye and green is the most visible color to the human eye, if you want buy 405 dont expect it to be much bright at all, the beam even in total darkness my 100mW 405 you dont see that much but its still a cool color to have but the red should be very visible not as much as green but far more then 405 for sure.

Both of these wavelengths are at the edges of the visible spectrum. At 80mW you may barely see the beam in absolute darkness, but you may need fog or smoke to see it.

I have a ~70mW 405nm pen, and I can see just barely see the beam in the dark. Others can't see the beam of this wavelength even at a few hundred mWs.

For me ~660nm is very similar. My 650nm 235mW lasers beam is difficult for me to see unless I use fog or smoke.

As far as safety, as was stated above generally all wavelengths are equally danderous. However, some consider 405nm to be more dangerous due to lack of visibility. But really, a laser to the eye is to be avoided no matter wavelength or power.

It takes ~ 100mW of 405 purple to match 'brightness' by eye OR more-- at trhe LSO class they siad 50 mW of 532 was same brightness as 1000mW of 445 blue-- BUT the 405 has a tiny spot size which concentrayes tjhe power and thus is a good burner- If you want the brightest red you need to find one between 635 and 640 nm-- side by side the new( and very $$) 640nm red at 500mW is equally as 'bright' as 1W of 650 or 660nm

Non visible lasers and 405 nm BluRay are more dangerous than 532green.

I always suggest buying from a trusted Vet here at LPF-

so for only "having the cool color" option, 5mW should be enough and safer

Thanks everyone for your answers
