The spyder 3 is advertised as the worlds most powerful portable laser but the Scorpius D Pro Series 808nm Infrared Handheld Laser from laser glow has a max output of 2100mw. Can someone help me. Is a infered laser not considered a laser?

Never believe any claims made by wicked lasers. That is a lie. I'm certain that people have made 20000mW portable lasers before, never listen to anything wicked lasers says about their products, they're all lies. Yes, of course infrared lasers are lasers too. The spider's not even the most powerful handheld green either, I've seen some up to 800mW or higher.

PS: Never, ever bump an old irrelevant thread to ask a question. This topic had been dead for a year before you bumped it to the front of the board to ask a silly question that's not in any way related to this discussion. That's very bad forum etiquette.
