I have a problem, my laser diode only emits IR light.






I'm sorry but it's time to get a new laser. Even if you have the crystal aligning it back is next to impossible.
I don't how much it cost and if it was a top notch unit, I haven't got to much info on your other thread but go with a couple 303 units for $6 each.
Your just going to end up pulling your hair out..;)
These pen units are as low as $3 also.

Even before you replied I just tore it apart and left driver and heatsink for maybe future projects.
 
I've re-aligned the crystals to the IR LD before, and it is a task. Not impossible though.
