I found a guy on the internet defending WL

I saw a thread where a guy mentioned he bought a WL 35mW Advanced, and I mentioned that WL isn't very good and to go with NOVA next time. Then this guy shows up, quotes me and says

Nice trolling. Nova lasers are more expensive. Wicked Lasers are proven to be rated correctly by the Internets laser communities. Sorry you got busted ones.

At this point I linked to Nova X-125 and linked to WL Fusion 125mW and showed that WL is more expensive. I also added that Laser Community is owned by WL and they ban people who do anything WL doesn't like. At this point he says

the 35 mw the OP bought is more expensive at nova, and I was not talking about "Laser Community" (not owned by WL, go do your damn source checking) I was talking about Google.

Nova and Dragonlasers are known to be shit. Enjoy your fail, troll.

So THEN I posted links to WL's 35mW advanced and Nova's X-50, which was still cheaper. Then I linked to a forum post on Laser Community that talks about how the site is owned by WL. His final rebuttle was a link to an e-bay listing for a $75 WL 35mW Advance, supposedly new. An ebay listing! At about this point, 5 other forum members jumped in and backed me up on everything I said, and the guy left, probably with his head lowered in utter shame.

I felt pretty good about it. One less brainwashed laser hobbyist. If only more people would see the light!


For those of you that must know, the site in question was 4chan. I pretty much recommend you just stay away from there. :-/

Interesting story though. I would of defending Wicked, if it hadn't been that my WL Fusion I got from them was severely underpowered, which is just total crap.

My Fusion is also severely underpowered. I didn't meter it until the warranty was over, and found it was doing 70mW average and 74mW peak.  :-/

I say to stay away from 4chan because it is basically the butthole of the internet. One wrong click and you will be viewing the most disgusting stuff on the internet. The "random" forum in particular. Click on that and you'll be greeted by pictures of everything from explicit beastiality pornography to pictures of mutilated human bodies to child pornography. And I'm not even exaggerating at all.

Just trust me on this one, don't go there.

Yeah, I know, I drop by 4chan reasonably frequently.

Back to my original question, why stay away from it? It's great :)
 
Alright well then if you already go there alot, then you know what I'm talking about. It's just not a website I'd recommend to laser pointer forum readers who may or may not be very young and impressionable.

Yeah there are a lot of those brainwashed people on Youtube also, I like to "spread the truth" in Youtube comments, usually the brainwashed people argue with me but other than that I'm sure those comments have "rescued" a few people.

lol one guy snapped on me cuz i told him that i didnt think Criss Angel is really magic, haha. I told him that if he really did posses powers that the US government would take him away and do tests on him trying to harness his powers. The same goes with Santa Claus.

Thank god for this site or I would've been like him. But it's not his fault really. He probably forked alot of money and then didn't wanna think he got scammed and feel really stupid.
