I bought 1000mw 532nm laser
Does anybody know how many real miliwatts it has?
Curent draw of this laser is 600ma at 4.2v = 2.52W
Pictures attached
Laser in a dark room
I have seen green laser comparation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNa_ajfKeFs
sd 301 has 320ma curent draw-84mw output no IR filter
Rayfos RF532 610ma curent draw - 130mw output with IR filter
I think that this laser doesnt have IR filter the output is probably near 170mw or more
The seller told me that this laser has new type of pumping diode
The room is Fully lit by laser light only.. first two pictures where taken in total darkness only laser light..
TOTAL COST 45 EUROS :)

It says <1000mW. It could be anything between 1-200mW. I doubt it goes higher than 200mW.

At 600ma current draw its no way near 1000mW thats for sure, i would guess 130~160mW, if it cannot light a match its probably much much less..

The sticker (warning label) has class IIIb laser product so even though it says <1000mW it would actually have to be less than 499mW to be compliant. I'm sure it is power wise!

Regardless of the pump diode used when you get into class IV powers exceeding 1/2 watt you aren't using monolithic crystal assemblies. The glue lines just cannot handle that kind of power even if TE spot cooling was used.

Looks like a beefed up pen in a flashlight to me. :D

Im not disappointed at all the laser is great for the price 200mw of real power for 45 Euros charger and Lion battery thats great for the money it looks that it has more than 200mw. I dont have power meter but it cuts plastic like a butter :D

That's good. Here's something to remember when dealing with lasers: if it cuts sh*t, it was worth it!
