Uhm, looking at the case and electrical specifications, i see only one possible use, for those lasers ..... very compact pulsed rangefinders ..... pulses of nanoseconds at 1Khz rate maximum, are not enough for data transfers, and the peak powers are too high ..... and, being the power referred to peaks and short time pulses, are also unhelpful for any cutting/engraving use ..... but, at that rates, and with a decent optic system, can be used for rangefinders simplifying the usual needed circuitry (cause they already have built-in both the discharge capacitors and the mosfet driver chip) .....
Can't imagine any other practical use, at the moment .....
