Yep, stop staring at the who's online page:D

10 bucks says half are bots....

I look at that on my forum, and 9 times out of ten, the same IP addy is on there 10 times at once.

We've had significantly larger "bumps" when someone from the forum's tutorial gets posted in another techy blog or some such.

yup, the different kind of spiro got more than 2k views IIRC...
 

 Most users ever online was 19,354, 01-15-2010 at 11:00 PM.

I don't remember if this was the bump from Jayrob's phaser getting cross-posted or not.

In any event, we had <19K guests and visitors in one 14 hour period that day.

I see a similar pattern on my forum in the spring when the snakes breed.

One of my members is the USA top (unusual morph) garter snake producers, when he starts selling his baby snakes, my forum shows up on google more than his own web site does, hence the huge draw.
