How to pull out a diode from a module?

Hey,
just found out that I killed the LPC diode.
I have another one I extracted from a DVD burner.
I don't wanna wait until the blank module comes in.
I want to get the diode out of the module to put the new diode in.

Just take a Small Screwdriver and Put the Module in a Vice and Bang It out with a Hammer.

That simple. It will come out pretty easy.
