I might hAve gotten some smoke on my laser lens and was wondering a good way to clean it. Is using q-tip going to damage it? Should I use cleaning alcohol or just water or nothing at all?

Using an air duster, or simply something to blow air on it can help

If it is a greassy smudge, blowing have no use. Blowing is only used for blowing away dust particleSo mabey blowing air on it with a straw? I would think smoke would leave a greasy smudge .
Some rubbing alcohol has a small amount of glycerin in it which can cake on the lens like a very fine layer of American cheese. If you want to be careful, I'd test it first by cleaning a small glass window and shine an unfocused laser through it to see if the circle looks hazy after the glass
