I wonder what solution and what type of cloth I should use to clean vinyl. I just bought one yesterday (Metallica - Kill' em All). I don't trust youtube vids too much so that's why I asked here. Thanks in advance!

How dirty is your record & what's on it? I've used wet paper towels 100s of times for dust or minor smudges and this method works great

There's two ways my dad does it.
Usually water, soap and a microfiber cloth do the trick. (We have a plastic cleaner where you have four horizontal cloths, in pairs which the record slides between, above a small pool of water. The cleaner bottoms out and the edge of the record glides across that.)

Though if we're trying to sell it for a decent amount of money the glue will put it in the best condition it can be in (though that does take time to fully remove, results vary).

My record is quite new and have only some dust on it I think because is electo-static charghed or something, I don't think I should use glue just a cloth...

Will do a wet cloth? Because everytime I clean it with a dry one more dust set on it... I mean I think it is electrically charged. Sorry for my noob questions but I'm really new in vinyl discs.:o
