I'm wondering how long it takes for a high powered laser (>100 mw) to cause permanent eye damage? I feel like a quick, random, reflection wouldn't do much...

I have a question , is it dangerous to look at the end of beam of the laser without googles ?
If yes, how to calculate (basing on laser power) at what distance is it safe?

There's a free app at the App Store that calculates the safe range for various powers and divergences of lasers. If only I could recall the name of the app... It can probably be found by searching for "lasers".
The name of the free laser hazard app is "laser NOHD". At Apple's App Store.
