How do i focus a laser to burn a fuse from

Hey guys just got a brand new laser it's about 1.1w plenty to light a fuse just the problem is the beam is too fat to light it from far away how could i make the beam thinner to burn the fine from say 5-10ft?
 





you could tape or glue a few match heads to the end of the fuse if that would help :thinking:
