how can i "break" the laser beam into 10 beams

Me neither. But I meant you can see it really well, and I'm not really sure what bluray is supposed to look like until I get mine done. And is that a huge blacklight in the background?

Well, it's pretty purple/violet in reality, like when you see a rainbow, it's like the last color you see ;D.The beam in the picture looks really blue. And that's not exactly a huge blacklight, it's a 15W bulb, way weaker than those you see in clubs and such. :-/ But as far as brightness goes I guess it picks it up better than you can see with the naked eye.Even the blacklight looks brighter and bluer. Not IR though, it has a good IR filter....IR looks pretty much as you see it with the naked eye.

*looks up rainbow picture* I see what you mean, and you're talking about the blacklight, right? I thought 405nm lasers didn't need IR.

No , I was talking about the camera when I said about IR.The camera has a good IR filter or maybe it's the setting or the sensor, but IR looks on the camera the way it does in real life, like very dim red. :P
