How is the 5mW radioshack laser pointer?

I was personally very unhappy with it. I returned it due to low output and erratic operation. Deal Extreme or stonetek would be the place to go for an inexpensive green pointer, IMO.

The RatShack in Mason City Iowa doesn't even know green lasers exist.

Backwater areas have no problems

I never owned one before (RadioShack doesnt appear to be th epitome of laser distributors to me) but from the looks of it it appears to be just like a cheap ebayser..... Not that it is horrible-any green laser pointer to a certain degree is cool as hell, but it isnt something i would buy considering only about 4 times the price could get me something WAY more powerful and durable.
