Hey everyone, wanted to inform you all that I will not be able to give out free shipping on international orders any more. The post offices in Houston are absolutely horrible with waiting times and my new job is making me have less free time out of the week already. Typically most international orders on my site seem to be just 1 battery or just 1 Aixiz module, so I'm actually losing money by offering free shipping on items like that on top of losing 45 minutes to 1 hour to ship the international packages at the post office.

I set up my website to charge $7.50 for international customers only, US customers will still be free as I don't have to wait in line to ship those. The $7.50 is for my time involved, not the actual cost of the shipping.

However I'm also offering FedEx shipping now which will be much much faster for US or International customers. Details of that on my website.

Just an FYI. Feel free to discuss, I appreciate both negative and positive feedback.

thanks,
Kendall

Sh*t. Sh*t!

I always pointed folks to yer website for having international shipping (new guys mostly, since all they order is exacty that, like one Aixiz housing or stuff). Partially my fault.

I always liked the free shipping there. Now it's basically same as Modwerx to me, pricewise.

Any chances of free shipping for orders above $** ? Here and there I'd order something in bulk then.

Nah I don't really want to do that, this is really more about my time, not the money. I've found time to be incredibly more valuable than money.

Time is money ;)

I know what you mean, I was just asking. You know, worth a shot :)

Well thanks for keeping up the great store anyway, let's hope for a lot of business and possibly reverting the shippings back to $0.00

To laser business

Cheers.

I'm hoping USPS changes their system to allow shipping international packages without having to wait in line at the post office. I'd pay them an extra $1 for each shipment if they'd do that...

Supposedly they think people will get confused with the forms and mess them up. So they look at each of them and use their date stamp thing to post date it. very dumb.

.... that I will not be able to give out free shipping on international orders any more.
:banghead::banghead:
I never knew that it was free in the first place, otherwise I would've ordered a bunch of Aixiz modules some time ago.
*bites into own bottom*

Does all the pain in the ass paper work for international shipping apply to Canada as well. I assume it does but thought I'd ask.

Yup sure does. Anything outside of the USA is international to me.

Strangely Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands I'm able to do online as if they're US states though, I guess they're like partially owned by the US but aren't official states.

Yup ... PR and USVI are handled like Washington DC, not a state but still US and serviced by USPS. UPS and FedEx even do ground shipping to PR (it goes ground to Miami and hops a plane across the pond).

I is from PR [*>=] wepa!
