I have been using one of those powerful green laser pointers for about 4 years now, and since I still use it sometimes, my Google searches occasionally ended up here, and very often recently due to the new 445nm lasers. I even minored in laser physics back then just for fun, which was a good choice, because the technology itself is actually quite interesting.
