Sorry, they are not the exact same lathe,
but they are identical in all of the ways
that count. They have the same crummy
motor, belt, sloppy design and construction.
If you are dead-set on getting one of
these, get the one from LittleMachineShop.
At least you will have a full gear set,
stronger motor, and the excellent support
they offer.
It doesn't look like it. I think the
reason I was able to cut 0.5mm thread is
that it is the Cummins 5275 with the full
gear set. The LMS lathe will probably cut
metric thread, whereas the others, maybe not.

Does grizzly not have ISO thread pitches as they claim? Same cheap electrical engineering?
