New here, I bought a LeadBetter (?) laser pointer about 4 years ago, did the pot mod and have looked at Laser Glow on occasion wanting to get something a wee bit bigger. I never did, but stumbled across a Blu-Ray or DVD laser phaser the other day and bought a cheap Blu-Ray player from the Bay to harvest the diode. I found a bunch of other DIY/How To's and this forum, so figured I'd join. Forums tend to help more than a How To article.
So hello to all, and I can't wait to build my first laser.

Welcome, their is heaps of info on LPF and dont forget, you need safety goggles if your using any laser aboce 5mw
