Hey all, quick "color blocking" idea!

So, I plan on making a fully functioning ncr ranger helmet with lights in the eyes. I can think of a few ways to do that. My idea is to have 2 sheets of plastic, 1 reflective later, and 1 of the sheets of plastic would need to block out blue.

So theoretically:

Sheet1 to light source, just before reflective layer, then after that a filter for just that light color. I noticed with my eagle pair it blocks almost all red leds, and most red lasers below a certain power output.

I wish I could give you guys more information but at work atm. Got any idea fellow geeks? I was thinking fiber optics....
 





Maybe post a picture of what you're imagining. You can also look into some reflective coating glass to make it harder to see your eyes. It might capture the effect while not forcing you to look through color-filtered glass.
