HeNe yellow for sale on ebay!

I've considered getting one of these, but there's just so much more I could do with 400 dollars.... Maybe some day.

I looked into the history of purchases, and everyone who bought ended up paying 395. So I'm betting they don't take anything from "best offer"

what kinda power supply is that?
is that a handheld pointer or a labby type laser?

it's a standard HeNe power supply, these types of lasers require high voltages to operate and the box contains a transformer to boost the voltage

Well you can get small HeNes but this one is 18" long and almost 2 inches in dia.

...lawl
I wouldn't buy a HeNe from anyone that puts 'dpss' on its description.
Cool laser tho...

is it just me, or does the image with the beam coming out look like the beam is fake/drawn on?

Ooooo Me want a diode pumped solid state HeNe. I guess that has to stay pretty cold. lol

that's not really possible, HeNe is one type of laser, DPSS is another - you can't really combine them

Heh. MI is where I got my first laser. a 2-3 mw red he-ne. I carried it around in my coat with some race-car batteries powering it in my inner pocket. I took it to a theater long before the pointers were out. I didn't do it during the film, but I pointed it in front of people from the balcony. bad idea... It was on a military base. One guy jumped 2 feet out of his chair... good times.. good times. (1991 or so)

hehe That's why I was LingOL. Go check out the auction title. I guess you'd have to supply your own cooling equipment to get within one degree of absolute zero.
