Help With 18650 & Charger

No i do not have a Multimeter to test the battery,
Yes i have only 1 battery 18650 @ 4200mAh what came with the laser.

After a sugestion by another member i decided to pop open a laptop charger for the battery's (yes i know the battery's are cheap enough to buy) but it was late at night and i was too tempted to do it,
after opening the charger there was no battery's that would fit the laser as it was a Multi-Adapter (iE) Differebt Voltage type.

However i do have other charger's to pop open but thought i'd save my time & just order a new battery along with a new charger so time will tell

I will thank everybody who helped me here & come back after the arrival of my new kit

Thank You Guys :)

OK so my new battery and charger from EBAY didnt arrive so i dont really want to try and re-order from there i'v had nothing but bad experience,
However i have opened a Laptop battery and gained 4 more 18650's but again the charger DOESN'T charge them so yes it looks like the charger is a defect and not working.

Please if anyone could be kind enough to send me a charger i will pay the P&P if you have spares

Thank You Very Much

Put a multimeter on the contacts of the charger to find + and - and match it to that of the battery

What about battery's from Amazon any recommendations to go with that charger as i want to spend over $25 to get free shipping

Thank You
the only ones from Amazon I will recommend are the Panasonics and be carful as to the reviews and that they are protected.
Some are not what is shown, just do a search.
They cost more but they are about the best.

These are the only ones from Amazon I will recommend.
Amazon.com : Panasonic NCR18650B Super Max 3.7V 3400mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Battery-Green : Electronics
They are flat heads, so be sure they will work in your laser before you buy them. Do a search for 18650s as there are other Panasonics listed.
They cost more but they are about the best.

These are not protected. Thus you will have to be careful of over-discharge.
You do not really need to be careful of over-charge, since the i4 is smart enough to automatically stop charging.

But it is still better if you can keep an eye on it. :)

I live in the UK/England and i'm trying to order the Nitecore as mentioned above ?
Not sure why i keep getting this error

whats the difference between the i2 and the i4 apart from the 2/4 battery slot

For i4 there is a 2 slots are paired together. If you charge in slot 1 and 3, each slot will receive 375mAh. Same goes for slot 2 and 4. If you charge in slots from different pair, they will receive 750mAh.

Therefore for i4 there is 2 charging speeds.

For i2 I am not very sure.

Hope that helps,

Just to update i bought the Securitying Sonshine LED Multi-Charger and it works a treat,
Even charged the old 4x battery's i got from an old laptop battery haha

Thanks Guys

(p.s)

Anyone know why my Laser seems to DIM after around half a second of button press,
