Help - Tenergy 10440 Li-ion 3.7v 330ma - EE when charging?

I just bought a AAA Tenergy 10440 sized (Similar to a AAA) 3.7v 330mah Li-Ion from Batteries Plus. When I put it in my pen I built I got no output. This could have been a build error. When I went to charge the battery it shows 75% on my Nitecore charger. After about 2-5 seconds it stops showing the charge % and changes to EE. Is this battery Bad?

HI,
Make sure the cells are contacting the posts, I have noticed that you have to play with them to get them straight in line, They are small cells and don't fit the cradles. And make sure the ends of the cells touch if there flat tops, if not a small solder blob will fix it. If the tail cap has no spring that might need a spring or blob it depends how much room you have inside the host. I use 10440 cels in all those small pens.

I've also tried with magnets. no change. could it be that it is not compatible with my nitecore charger?
