Help Needed

Okay, so I totally messed up in my purchases and bought what I needed the wrong way. So I was wondering if there's a chance you can remove the top piece of a module, from the diode? I'm trying to preserve my purchase without having to buy a whole new diode but if I do, I guess I will have to. And this is the piece I mean:

HI,
If you mean pulling the diode out of the CU module you will have to desolder the driver from the diodes first. Then you need a diode press tool to pull it I can post pics if are not familiar with the tool

yes I wouldn't mind some pictures I had a feeling I would need to de-solder it which is perfectly manageable.

Hi,
Ok you can get these from Flamingpyro's website just use the search and apply his name.Left pic shows press in and press out dyes, Second pic module with diode screwed in the brass alignment sleeve.Third pic pressing the diode out of the CU module. Fourth pic diode pressed out of the CU module and being caught in the aligtnment sleeve. Well now you have a general idea of whats in store.
I also use a ESD mat and Wrist strap when i build some folks don't but i do, You never know..
