I have a PHR running on a flex drive in a dorcy jr. set up so I'm using CR123 batteries to power it. The batteries that the dorcy came with worked fine for two weeks or so, then just stopped working abruptly because the voltage dropped too low (or maybe they couldn't supply enough amps?).
I grabbed some rechargeable ones from Fry's along with a charger. They did the same thing as the other ones: worked fine then stopped working. So I went to recharge them and the light indicator on the charger never said they were charging. I let them sit overnight anyways and they still weren't working afterwards.
To make sure it wasn't the laser that died I connected two AA's and it worked fine. In frustration I gave up and left it alone for a few days. I tried the batteries again to see if letting them sit did anything, and they worked! For like 30 seconds... before dying again. But this time I noticed that they weren't actually dead, but the light output was sssuuuupppeerr dim. I even looked into it (with goggles :) and you could clearly see the crystal through the lens, it was cool looking.
Does anyone know why the batteries wont work? I'll try and give you any specifications you want. And before anyone asks, no, neither of them state their mAh. Any help would be appreciated!!
