HELP:) Jetlasers 600mW 532nm laser module.

Well, looks it is just output from frequency doubling crystal, no optics. What about Sanwu? They have nice lens options what I've seen. Maybe they could sell you just optics. However I do not have any product from them yet, so I cannot tell you if it is suitable for you.

I believe some guys use 2 elements for 520 not sure if it's suitable for 532 as well. I've never had to change a lens on a 532, udually there is a lens at the end of the module then a focusing lens not attached to module

You should ask Alaskan about lenses for 532 I bet he knows.

Of course diodes have different profile. But what I've read about Sanwu lenses here - would make me to explore the option of using them. If adjusted properly I believe they may be awesome. I'm interested if anybody tried their lens for 532 nm? I do not see their lens specs on their webpage to consider it more...

Yep, looks like the concave expander lens may still be in place, so you've essentially got half a beam expander on the end of your module.

Got pictures of the module?

Yep:)
These were in the first post and might need some new photos. If there are any other angles you'd like to see just ask:beer:

I tried using a Sanwu G2/G7/3ele, and a DTR G2. Neither seemed to do much at any length I tried:(

Edit: I have a few optics from an old projector I tore apart and one of the lenses seemed like it fixed the focusing. It made the dot look like all of my other 532 lasers anyways. Not sure what to do with it.

Edit2: Using the Sanwu beam expander also seems to fix this. I really don't feel like keeping the expander on the host 24/7 though. All ideas are super appreciated:D

Can you show a photo of the end on the lens? None of your other photos show this and it seems to be the main problem you are having.

Sorry for responding so late. Family and work issues and such.

Here's an imgur album with the photos. I think the pane on the front is just a filter. There is also what looks to be a lens set within the aperture of the head.

Yeah, an IR filter would be my guess, but the photo doesn't really show much more than that. It sort of looks like an enlargement of the 200 mW modules. If that's the case, it would likely be not adjusted to infinity. The way the IR filter is glued in place, I don't see as you have access to the other lenses.

Any ideas as to what lens would be needed? Focusing is the only thing stopping the completion of this laser.

Did you try to ask JL for suggestion?

I'm trying to avoid that so as to not bother them much:)
I don't know how willing they would be to keep selling modules if they constantly got asked questions about them:p

Sorry for the late reply. I've been hung up on unrelated issues. Without testing a module and deliberately focusing a quickly diverging beam, I can only hazard a guess. I would try a PCX lens, maybe 2 to 2.5 cm in diameter like you can get on a Cree Q5 flashlight that runs on a single AA battery, but the focal length will be the deciding factor.
