This is the setup for a lab laser. It is better than what you showed before, but the NUBM44 driven to output close to 7 watts puts out a lot of heat. If I were going to use this for that diode, I'd add a TEC to keep the temperature down. You might get by without it, but it is what I would do.

fans over the heat sink for peltier, peltier over the laser's heatsink?
nice idea, but the tec absorb to much A for a portable laser

A good start would be a much larger/heavier all copper diode module--20mm, 25mm, and 35mm are available , see: https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diode-modules, then mount that in a finned heatsink with enough surface area to dissipate the heat from the diode/copper module/driver by convection. or a host wth enough mass to transfer the heat from the module.
You can probably get 30 minuters of run time with one of DTR's XYZ mounts --see: https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diodes/xyz-mount-modules Ask DTR.

Use the LPF search function and research other people's solutions for NUBM44 diodes.

^ This. That lab laser unit wouldn't make a good portable laser anyway. Those are not intended for use in the field.
