Im 42 years old with a 20 year old daughter, 3 pit bulls and 7 cats.

Im into building things, making videos for you tube, sailing, drinking , photography , solar power experiments.

This forum looks like I could learn a lot about lasers, optics and electronics so I joined right up.

Great to have you! There are a lot of machinists here as well since a lot of what goes on here is engineering and research which required prototypes.
I love drinking as well I don't get to as often as i'd like. I was thinking of putting a mini-fridge in the basement for when i'm on the lathe....I'm constantly bashing my knuckles on it anyways, may as well dull the pain a little.
