Welcome to the forum Merry.:wave: I'm glad you still have internet service. I have been reading about all the blackouts going on in China. I don't know if I could go on living without LPF.:undecided:

I think she wanted to have the ability to respond/post both personally and as a laserlands rep.-but not in a spammish way IMO. I dont see anything wrong with that as long as she is upfront about it.--HZ
 
On a forum full of guys, it's also just smart marketing. Whether people choose to be marketed to, it's up to them.

I gave them a shot - ordered a BR laser (smaller, not the 200mW) from Laserlands (and an IR pointer from o-Like at the same time; first order from o-Like for me anyways.) - and am withholding judgement until it arrives.

Laserlands got off to a rocky start, sure, but honestly if I wandered by o-Like's site without the praise from this forum I probably would have been unsure about it, too.

I'd say judge them on their products, prices and service -- most of which, it's far too early to tell. Their half-price promo (which -- full disclosure; I missed out on) was a good start though. If the reviewed lasers hit the power output marks, (i.e., if one of the reviewers who got a 200mW BR for 1/2 price actually measures it at ~200mW) i may go for one.

If Laserlands becomes a decent supplier, then they can have a forum account for each day of the week for all I care.
 
I am still LOLing about the china wanna-be laser CO. that had three other user names and carried on a long conversation with him/her self about what a great Co. it was--still banned of course!!!--not the case IMO with Laserlands-- look out- Susie and Fiona--Merry is here!!!
