Hello everybody,
I'm José and I’m from Portugal.
I’ve always have interest in astronomy, but unfortunately a good Meade or Celestron (Telescopes brands) are very expensive. Despite not owning a telescope yet, I know quite a bit of constellations and stars. And when I have friends visiting, I like to point those in the sky. And using the arm and finger is quite difficult for my friends ‘see’ to where I’m pointing.
Recently I acquire 2 laser pointers, a blue 5W for making experiences, that came with a 301 green laser.
Wowww, how easy it’s now to point to the stars. Those are my first lasers, and I’m quite happy with them.
The blue one was only used a few times, and because they need a very good protection googles I’m waiting for them to arrive. The ones that came with the laser are the cheap ones.
The green one is low power, and very good at pointing to a star or a constellation.
Hope to learn more in here, and pass on anything I know.
Bye for now.
